Sort and find media
Create, rename, move, and delete folders, then create subfolders around projects, departments, campaigns, or content types. Rearrange folders and files with drag and drop, set a manual file order, or sort by criteria such as title, date, or name. Quick folder search helps navigate larger folder trees.
Shortcuts let one file appear in multiple folders without making another physical copy or using additional storage. In the WordPress media insertion dialog, the folder tree appears on the left so you can filter files while editing. You can also manage media in list mode and on touch devices. Bulk selection lets you select and delete multiple folders at once.
Manage uploads and galleries
Upload management shows the current status, remaining time, and upload speed. Choose a folder in the WordPress media upload dialog to send files directly there.
Folders can contain files and collections. Collections can group other collections and gallery folders, while gallery folders contain images for visual galleries. Use a gallery folder's contents to make a dynamic gallery in the Gutenberg editor with a block or shortcode, then maintain the gallery by managing its folder contents.
WordPress and developer integration
Real Media Library is Gutenberg-ready and compatible with major themes, page builders, and many plugins. WordPress Multisite is supported, with a separate folder tree for each website. Developers can use the JavaScript API with React or plain JavaScript, WordPress actions and filters, an extensible PHP API, and REST API endpoints.
The plugin includes GDPR/DSGVO support and does not collect personal data without consent.
Getting started
Install Real Media Library Pro in WordPress, organize existing uploads into folders and subfolders, and move files with drag and drop. Select media through the folder tree in the insertion dialog, or use gallery folders to create galleries in Gutenberg.
