Connect pagination to each content area
Pagination Pro adds navigation to WordPress content split across pages or shown in sections. Automatic pagination covers the home page, blog, archives, search results, and paginated posts and pages. The Pro feature set adds automatic pagination for WooCommerce Shop pages. The add-on also integrates with Gallery and Portfolio.
Comments and custom layouts use manual function placement in a PHP template or a theme or extension PHP file. A Pagination block is also available for adding a page break to a post or page.
Choose a navigation format and position
Select numeric pagination, a “Load More” button, infinite scroll, or Next/Previous-only controls. Numeric layouts can show every page number, such as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or a shorter sequence, such as 1, 2 … 5, 6. Pro can show a “Load More” button after the initial content loads.
Place navigation above content, below it, or in both locations.
Set the appearance and behavior
Adjust the pagination block’s width, alignment, and margins. Style the hover, background, current-page background, text, current-page text, and border colors, as well as border width and radius. Choose from ready-made templates or add custom HTML or CSS in the plugin options.
Additional controls include Next and Previous arrows, scroll-to-top behavior, a “Page X of Y” indicator, and a Scroll Progress Bar. The Pro feature list also includes Divi theme compatibility.
Manage theme and template conflicts
The Hide Pagination settings can hide pagination for default themes, paginated posts or pages, comments, and custom templates. Use them to override or disable a theme’s built-in pagination. To exclude a specific element, enter its CSS class or ID.
Install and configure
Install and activate the plugin, then open the Pagination menu in the WordPress administration sidebar. Configure the navigation type and appearance, review the Hide Pagination settings, and check the result on the relevant content areas. Documentation, installation guidance, and video tutorials are included. Priority support is listed with a response within one business day.
