Choose content and set selection rules
Post Carousel Slider for Elementor Pro displays WordPress posts, pages, custom post types, and WooCommerce products in sliding carousels. Use separate carousels for blog posts, news, products, portfolio items, or other archive-style content. Each carousel has its own options.
Select an available post type, then filter its content with custom taxonomies related to that type. Search within the selected type to include specific items or exclude them. You can also ignore sticky posts and limit how many items appear.
Choose an order based on publish date, ID, title, slug, menu order, modified date, number of comments, or random selection. Set the direction to ascending or descending.
Shape each item with a template
The add-on works with Elementor and works with Elementor Pro Loop Builder templates. Create a content template to control how each post, product, or other item appears in the carousel. Two template types are available.
Choose whether to show the title, excerpt, Read More button, pictures, navigation dots, and arrows. Set word or character limits to keep variable-length excerpts within your preferred bounds. You can also change the Read More text.
Set the slider layout and movement
Choose the number of slides visible at once and how many advance with each scroll. Multiple-row layouts include a rows-per-view setting. Multiple slideshows can appear on one page, and the plugin supports unlimited sliders on a page.
Use the breakpoint builder to set slider settings for different screen sizes. Configure autoplay and its speed, adjust slide speed, and pause the slider while the pointer is over it. Show or conceal navigation dots and arrows; arrow icons can come from Font Awesome or be supplied as SVG icons.
Adjust the visual details
Styling controls cover colors, hover states, backgrounds, spacing between items, and other appearance settings. Custom CSS is available for further adjustments. The plugin also allows custom JavaScript for additional carousel behavior or integration work.
Install and configure
Install the plugin in WordPress and add its Elementor carousel element to a page. Select a post type, pick filters and ordering rules, set the template and visible fields, then adjust responsive slider settings. Preview the carousel across screen sizes before publishing.
