Loan Calculator WP Pro for different loan scenarios

Loan Calculator WP Pro lets you create multiple calculators, each with a unique Post ID, and configure the calculator and its styling for a specific page. Use separate setups for home, personal, car, education, mortgage, or other loan categories.

Inputs and payment schedules

Choose monthly, quarterly, yearly, weekly, or fortnightly repayment frequency. Down payments can be a fixed amount or a percentage. An extra payment can be included as a prepayment option, and a balloon amount can be configured. The supplied documentation specifies balloon amount support up to 50%.

The amortization schedule displays payment details and dates based on the selected payments. The supplied documentation states that the current calculator supports US dollar currency.

Results and show settings

Visitors can review the loan table, view charts, and print results. Chart settings include a stacked bar chart and a breakdown of the total payment. Administrators can adjust the design, colors, and theme, and manage decimal-point display, labels, and values from the backend. The new theme includes Google font support.

Additional display options include an about-this-calculator popup, a disclaimer, and a contact section that uses a support contact form shortcode. The calculator is intended for responsive websites and is displayed using a shortcode.

Installation and placement

1. Unzip the downloaded plugin file.
2. Upload the included folder to the /wp-content/plugins directory.
3. Activate the add-on from the WordPress Plugins page.
4. Configure the calculator and its page-specific settings.
5. Copy the [loan_calculator] shortcode and paste it into the page or post where the calculator should appear.
