Secure Copy Content Protection Pro is the professional edition of Secure Copy Content Protection and Content Locking. It includes the free version’s capabilities, with additional controls for IP addresses, countries, user roles, post types, REST API access, paid content, and picture watermarks.
Choose which actions to restrict
Basic protections can disable right-click and left-click actions, content selection, drag and drop, and common copy and save shortcuts. Administrators can also disable F3, F6, F9, F12, CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+X, CTRL+S, CTRL+A, CTRL+U, CTRL+F, CTRL+P, CTRL+H, CTRL+L, CTRL+K, CTRL+O, and ALT+D. The extension can disable developer tools and inspect components as well.
Additional options include blocking IP addresses or countries, a front/back blocker, and REST API protection. Rules can be applied to user roles, posts, or post types, letting administrators choose which audiences and parts of a site use the available protections.
Lock, schedule, or charge for content
Create multiple password-based content locker shortcodes, assign a password to each, and place protected material between the shortcode parts in a post or page. A shortcode can also allow a selected user role to view its content without entering the password.
Content can be set to appear for a specified period and then disappear. The content-locking process counts password entries and views by a selected user role. For paid access, the Pro edition includes a PayPal paywall. Subscription-based content access and Mailchimp integration are also available.
Configure notices and image tools
- Add notification text and adjust style settings for protected content.
- Export results as CSV, XLSX, or JSON.
- Apply watermarks to pictures.
- Use the protection tools on PC and mobile devices.
Install and configure the extension
Download and install the plugin from the WordPress dashboard, activate it, and open its settings. Choose the copy and shortcut restrictions, notification text and styles, and post types or content areas to protect.
For locked content, create a shortcode, set its password or permitted user role, and place it around the material in a post or page. If access should be scheduled, define the available period. Configure any needed IP or country blocking, REST API protection, role rules, PayPal paywall, or image watermarking before publishing the protected content.
