Edwiser Bridge Pro is the paid edition of Edwiser Bridge for organizations that manage courses in Moodle and use WordPress to present and sell them. Moodle remains the course platform; WordPress can import course details and provide the shopfront.

Course and learner synchronization

Import Moodle course titles, descriptions, images, and categories into WordPress. Courses can remain drafts until they are ready to publish. Automated synchronization transfers information between connected sites, including enrolled course data and images. Student progress syncs from Moodle to WordPress in real time.

One Moodle website can connect to multiple WordPress sites so its courses can be sold through those sales channels. A WordPress site cannot connect to multiple Moodle sites. The integration can automate Moodle visitor registration, control course registration, synchronize enrollments, and let learners use identical credentials on both platforms. WordPress can also manage course access time and enroll or unenroll users.

WooCommerce course sales

Edwiser Bridge works with course sales through PayPal. Pro adds WooCommerce integration for a WordPress shopfront and payment gateways supported by WooCommerce, including settings beyond PayPal. It can create purchase invoices automatically and sell an add-on product alongside a course.

Courses can be offered as subscriptions with the WooCommerce Subscriptions add-on, configured with variations, or bundled as products. Bulk purchasing is available when paired with the WooCommerce Integration extension. Buyers can enroll multiple students in a purchased course, and a cohort is created for each purchase. The Pro capability set also includes Single Sign On, selective synchronization, custom fields, and corporate sales.

Installation and setup

Install Edwiser Bridge on WordPress and the companion Moodle extension on Moodle, then configure the integration settings on both sites and test the connection. For the automated WooCommerce solution, Edwiser Bridge Pro is intended to be installed on both the WordPress and Moodle sites. Configure the WooCommerce sales flow and any payment, invoicing, and course access settings for your site setup.
