Academy LMS Pro extends Academy LMS, a self-hosted WordPress learning management system for creating, selling and managing online courses. It is designed for course creators, educators, coaches, training businesses, academies, schools, institutions, membership sites and agencies building learning platforms for clients.

Academy LMS includes a frontend course builder, quizzes, completion certificates, student and instructor dashboards, course selling and multi-instructor revenue sharing. Pro adds settings for live teaching, assessment, scheduled content, reporting, memberships, communication and site integrations.

The Academy LMS listing reports that the add-on was closed on October 11, 2026, pending a full review, and is unavailable for download. Since Pro extends Academy LMS, setup depends on the base plugin being available.

Course delivery and assessment

• Connect live classes with Zoom and Google Meet.
• Create assignments and manage grades with the gradebook.
• Use auto-complete for supported learning workflows.
• Schedule lesson releases with content drip.
• Group related courses into bundles and set course prerequisites.

Managing courses in WordPress

Academy LMS has a React-based administration dashboard that runs as a single-page application. Instructors can create courses from the frontend. Video lessons can use self-hosted files, YouTube, Vimeo or HTML5, with Gumlet video integration also available. Content drip, bundles, prerequisites, assignments and live classes help organize course management within the WordPress site.

A migration tool moves courses, lessons, quizzes and student data from other WordPress LMS extensions into Academy LMS.

Setup and support

When Academy LMS is available, install it in WordPress and add the Pro edition. Configure the learning, commerce, membership and integration settings your site needs, then create courses and lessons and select the appropriate access and assessment options. Connect services such as Zoom, Google Meet or a membership plugin where needed, and test the learner and instructor dashboards before launch.

Academy LMS Pro includes priority support. Choose functions and integrations according to the courses, learners, instructors and business processes the site needs to manage.
