WordPress plugin
Display Eventbrite Events Pro for WordPress
Display Eventbrite Events Pro connects a WordPress site to Eventbrite through the Eventbrite API. It reads forthcoming event data from Eventbrite servers and displays it on the website, while event details remain managed in Eventbrite. Additions or updates to a listing can appear through the feed, which helps promote free or ticketed events without re-entering event details.
How Eventbrite data appears in WordPress
Display Eventbrite Events Pro connects a WordPress site to Eventbrite through the Eventbrite API. It reads forthcoming event data from Eventbrite servers and displays it on the website, while event details remain managed in Eventbrite. Additions or updates to a listing can appear through the feed, which helps promote free or ticketed events without re-entering event details.
Choose how to place an event display
Add events with a WordPress Block, an Elementor Widget, or a shortcode. The Block and Elementor widget let you work with layouts and settings in the editor. Shortcodes provide another way to place displays in WordPress content. Pro includes up to 80 settings for presentation and filtering. Its shortcode builder shows how events may look as you explore the available settings.
Compare listing layouts and calendar views
Listing formats include full-width, venue, short-date, card, and grid layouts. Pro also includes pre-built shortcode templates and a pre-built calendar page template with a grid layout. Calendar views are available in month, list, and custom-period formats.
Organize event groups and feeds
Filter events by Eventbrite collection, or use additional filters to split events across pages. Different shortcodes can use different API keys, allowing feeds from separate organization accounts or sources to appear in different areas of a site.
Set links and presentation details
Displays can include a read-more link to the Eventbrite page and a book-now link to Eventbrite. Choose whether Eventbrite links open in a new browser tab. Thumbnails have adjustable size and alignment, and you can add custom HTML or text before or after recent posts. The add-on also supports title URLs and predefined color styles. Customize CSS for further visual adjustments, or use developer-friendly templates in a child theme and filters to shape the presentation.
Work with the active theme
The plugin is designed to blend Eventbrite listings into a WordPress site according to its active theme and applied styling. Pro templates have been tested on Divi, Astra, OceanWP, Enfold, Genesis, and WordPress themes.
Connect the feed and publish
Install the Pro plugin from the WordPress dashboard, then connect to the Eventbrite data feed through the API settings. Choose a Block, Elementor Widget, or shortcode, and select a layout before configuring any filters or calendar options. Review the display in the editor or shortcode builder, adjust links, thumbnails, text, and styling, then add it to the relevant page. For multiple organization feeds, separate shortcodes can use different API keys.
