Review resources and system health with PRO
Enable Live System Resources in the dashboard widget to view more than 30 readings, including server identity, CPU and memory activity, disk use, database details, PHP information, WordPress status, and diagnostics. CPU and memory bars include sparklines covering approximately the last 7.5 minutes, with color changes at 70% and 90%. Resource updates use WordPress Heartbeat while the administration page is active.
The widget can report server location through a selected provider. Results are cached for 30 days, and the Server Location settings include a Detect now control to execute another lookup. Available location details depend on the provider.
- Health Advisor: Checks PHP and MySQL versions against end-of-life dates and grades PHP against WordPress core's support guidance. It also integrates with the WordPress Site Health screen.
- SSL expiry checks: The Health Advisor warns when a certificate is within 21 days of expiry and marks it critical at 7 days or after expiry. If the host blocks the probe, the check is informational.
- Version history: Records changes to WordPress core, PHP, MySQL, plugins, and themes. The log keeps the last 50 entries and prunes older ones automatically.
- Change alerts: Plain-text emails can report PHP, core, add-on, and theme version changes. Configure recipients and component alerts; messages include previous and new values with a timestamp.
- System export: Download technical stack details as structured JSON, including WordPress configuration, PHP and extensions, database details, the active theme, and active plugins with their versions.
PRO clients receive priority support.
Manage client sites with Agency
Agency includes PRO features. Its white-label controls can replace Version Info and Gaucho Plugins branding in the plugins list, widget, admin bar, footer, and settings page. They can also conceal Freemius branding and in-extension documentation links. Access to the White Label tab can be restricted to one administrator.
A role visibility matrix controls which WordPress roles can see version information in the admin bar, footer, and dashboard widget. The multisite network dashboard reports WordPress, PHP, and MySQL versions plus database size for each site, with caching and a stated limit of 100 sites. The PHP error-log dashboard shows the last 100 lines of debug.log, masks paths, and provides a ZIP download for offline review.
Set up and check the result
Install and activate Version Info to see core version details in the administration interface. Enable the dashboard widget through Screen Options. After activating a paid plan, configure the monitoring and alert settings you need; Agency visitors can also set visibility, branding, multisite, and error-log controls.
Review the widget or administration show to confirm the technical details are available. For ongoing maintenance, check health findings and version changes, adjust alert recipients and component settings as sites change, and use JSON exports when preparing support discussions or migration archives.
