Fatal Error Notify Pro for WordPress Error Alerts
Uptime monitoring usually alerts when an entire site becomes unavailable. Fatal Error Notify Pro can report a configured PHP error from an individual page or process, including cases where other parts of the site remain accessible.

How detection and error selection work
The add-on hooks into PHP’s shutdown function and sends a notification just before a page stops loading. A 500 Internal Server Error can still trigger PHP shutdown actions. If the site is completely offline, the extension can detect and report an error in most cases.
Choose which PHP error levels should trigger notifications. To exclude specific errors, use the fen_ignore_error filter. Its error data includes the PHP error code (type), message, file path (file), and line number (line), so an exclusion can match details of a recorded error.
Pro notifications and integrations
The Pro edition adds Slack notifications, error logging, multisite support, out-of-memory handling, an option to conceal the plugin settings, and controls to pause individual notifications.
It also integrates with Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, WPForms, WP Fusion, and WP Mail SMTP. Fatal Error Notify Pro can send notifications when errors are logged in those add-ons.
Manage settings with WP-CLI
Use WP-CLI’s get_option and update_option methods to inspect or change plugin settings, including Slack notification settings and the notification email address. You can pass a site list through xargs to update an option across multiple sites. For settings stored as arrays, such as error levels or selected plugins, supply a JSON-formatted value; use get_option first to inspect the field.
Installation and configuration
Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, then open Settings > Fatal Error Notify to configure the notification email, error levels, and other notification options. Set up Slack, multisite, or supported integrations as needed. WP-CLI is available for command-line settings management.
