Copy selected page and post content

Copy Delete Post Premium duplicates WordPress pages and posts so you can reuse a layout or make a version to edit and compare. Choose a one-click copy or open the additional controls to select elements such as text paragraphs, pictures, video, featured images, and information from supported extensions. Premium supports Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and copying pages across WordPress multisite installations.

Start a copy from the All Pages or All Posts screen, an individual edit screen, the admin bar, a bulk action, or the Gutenberg editor. Copies made from an edit screen can open in a new browser tab. You can conceal copy buttons in selected locations through the plugin menu.

Other controls let you select which WordPress roles can copy content, which content types are available, where to go after copying, and whether a copy shows a reference to its original. You can also copy a page together with its child pages, applying the parent page's current copy settings to them.

Name copies and switch between settings

Set a naming pattern that makes copies easier to recognize in the dashboard. Names can include the date or time, an increasing counter, or PHP date and time shortcodes.

Create multiple configuration sets for copying pages or deleting posts, then switch between them without returning to the settings page. Export and import these sets when managing configurations across multiple websites.

Review and remove duplicate content

For manual cleanup, scan pages, posts, or custom posts and choose what counts as a duplicate: matching titles, slugs, excerpts, or word counts. Select whether to keep the oldest version or the newest. Review candidates in the results, search the list, and open a URL or slug to inspect a copy before removal. The cleanup tools also let you remove all matches, including the original.

Bulk deletion supports cleanup of pages and posts. Premium can also delete pages or posts automatically, which may help when content is copied at higher levels, and can apply automatic redirects to deleted entries. Deletion can be throttled on a slower server; the source notes that server conditions may still affect the process.

Duplicate pages for server load checks

The extension can duplicate up to 1,000 pages for a server load test, so you can observe how the server behaves.
