Royal Backup PRO for WordPress Backups and Migration
Royal Backup PRO brings WordPress backup, migration, restore, and database reset workflows into one interface. It can suit website owners who need scheduled copies or a way to move a site between environments. The reset workflow deletes site content and options, so create a backup first.

Choose backup coverage and timing
A backup can include the database, add-ons, themes, uploads, and WordPress core files. PRO coverage includes wp-admin, wp-includes, and essential root files such as wp-config.php and .htaccess. File and database schedules are configured separately. Each can execute every hour, every 12 hours, daily, weekly, once every two weeks, or monthly.
Choose storage and migration workflows
One-click configuration is available for Google Drive, Dropbox, and Amazon S3. Backups can be saved to multiple locations at once, including the WordPress site and cloud storage. Local backups are stored by default in wp-content/royal-backup-reset/, a directory protected by .htaccess rules against direct web access.
The migration feature can clone, copy, or move a site from staging to live without file-size limits. It can also migrate sites from remote storage services such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and Amazon S3.
Manage saved backups and restores
The backup management interface lets you view, download, restore, and delete saved backups. You can download individual components, including the database, extensions, or themes. To restore a site, open the Restore Site tab, select a saved backup, and press Restore.
Background processing and progress tracking let backup and restore activity continue after you refresh or close the browser. Real-time progress updates are available during the operation.
Use maintenance and reset controls carefully
A backup reminder appears before activating or updating themes or plugins and before installing new ones. The database reset tool returns WordPress to a fresh state without reinstalling it. It deletes content and settings while preserving the current user account, so make a backup before resetting.
Start with a backup
Install and activate Royal Backup PRO, open the backup area, and start a backup. Choose local or cloud destinations, set schedules if needed, and review saved copies in the management interface. Before an update, migration, or database reset, create a current backup with the components needed for that task.
