How ratings move from visitors to your content

FeedbackWP Premium extends the rating functionality of Rate My Post. Visitors can rate posts, pages, or other content, then provide private feedback. Choose automatic placement for rating and result widgets, or place them with shortcodes.

Ratings can also work outside the usual post and page flow. Create custom rating widgets independent of posts and pages, show rating and feedback results on custom post types, or add ratings to existing posts that have no votes.

Choose the input and its show

• Rating widget: Collect ratings with Stars, Thumbs, Hearts, Smileys, or Trophies.
• Results widget: Display a rating result for a post or page.
• Feedback widget: Collect private feedback after a visitor rates content.
• Social widget: Use the included social widget.
• Top rated posts widget: Show posts with the highest ratings.

Use [ratemypost] for a rating widget and [ratemypost-result] for results. Pass a post ID to target a particular post. Settings can also add rating widgets to all posts or pages, with exclusions for selected content such as an About Us page.

Configure results and schema

Change widget text and colors in the settings, or use custom templates for further customization. The statistics section shows vote totals and average ratings. The analytics section can include rating time, username, title, and time spent on the page before rating; IP address recording is optional. Ratings can also be changed in the administration panel.

Select a schema type for each post directly in the post editor. The plugin includes structured data support for rich snippets, letting you configure information associated with ratings.

Fit and setup

FeedbackWP Premium can suit blogs, review websites, resource libraries, and other WordPress projects that collect visitor responses. It supports infinite scroll plugins and popups, though integration with those layouts requires implementation.

Install and activate the plugin, configure rating, result, feedback, schema, and display settings, then add widgets automatically or insert the available shortcodes where needed.
