FedEx rates at checkout
FedEx WooCommerce Live Rates PRO connects a WooCommerce store to the FedEx API. It calculates shipping prices from the cart contents, product weights, and the customer’s shipping address, then displays available rates at checkout. Rates can be offered across products and shipping zones, with controls to limit which eligible services clients see.
Configure packages and rates
Choose how the extension prepares shipments: automatically pack multiple products based on weight and volume, define custom boxes with their own weight and padding, or pack items separately. Adjust returned FedEx rates with fixed or percentage handling fees and discounts. You can also set a custom shipping origin, use multicurrency support, and configure a single FedEx Live Rates shipping method.
- Choose List or Account rates and add shipment insurance.
- Use currencies supported by FedEx and set a fixed fallback amount for cases when no rates are returned.
- Enable debug mode to help diagnose live-rate configuration issues.
Choose services and display delivery estimates
Service options can include FedEx 2Day, FedEx Ground, FedEx Ground Home Delivery, FedEx Express Saver, FedEx International Economy, FedEx International Priority, and FedEx International First. The available services depend on the customer’s address and account connection; custom service options let you restrict the options shown.
Display an estimated delivery date at checkout. Its advanced settings include maximum time in transit, cutoff time, lead time, and the option to exclude selected days of the week. FedEx Freight LTL support is also available for shipments that use freight services.
Connect and check the setup
A registered FedEx account is required to connect to the API. Install and activate the plugin, then configure the FedEx connection and shipping settings. Set the origin, packing rules, services, rate adjustments, and delivery-date options. Check the checkout rates with various products, weights, and customer addresses before making the method available to shoppers.
The plugin supports the FedEx REST API and includes an AI-powered chat assistant with optional handoff to human support. The PRO upgrade includes priority email support.
