Blocks for ACF Fields Pro: Dynamic ACF Layouts in WordPress
Blocks for ACF Fields Pro displays Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and Secure Custom Fields (SCF) in the WordPress block editor. Add the ACF Field block to a page, post, template, or theme part, select a field, and configure its output. This lets you create field-based content without creating a custom block or writing PHP for each field.

The field type shapes the available display choices, while the source determines which WordPress data supplies the value. Pro adds settings for structured fields and several kinds of content sources.
Choose a source for the field value
- Post: Use fields attached to the current post, page, or custom post type.
- Option: Load global values such as logos, contact information, or social links.
- User: Use custom user data, such as bios or avatars, in author templates.
- Taxonomy: Use term fields in archive templates or custom category, tag, and taxonomy layouts.
Set the display for each field type
Repeater sub fields can each appear as their own block, arranged in the editor. Choose a List, Grid, Carousel, Accordion, or Tabs layout for the rows.
For gallery fields, choose a Grid, Masonry, or interactive Carousel. Gallery output includes a built-in lightbox and responsive options for various screen sizes. Group fields can expose their sub fields individually, including fields inside deeply nested groups. Pro includes more than 20 advanced display formats.
Text-based fields, including multi-value Select and Checkbox fields, can appear as plain text or use typography controls. Image fields have styling options comparable to core Image blocks. URL-return fields, including Link and Post Object fields, can render as clickable buttons styled to match the active theme.
Use field content across WordPress layouts
The block also works with the WordPress Site Editor, Query Loops, reusable patterns, and dynamic layouts. Use field values in custom templates, theme parts, archive layouts, or author areas, where the displayed content can update from those values.
Set up and use the block
Install and activate Blocks for ACF Fields Pro in WordPress, then make sure your ACF or SCF fields are available. Create the fields, open the relevant page, post, template, or theme part in the block editor, and add the ACF Field block. Choose a field, select its source, and configure the display or layout options. Save the page or template and review the output. Product documentation includes usage guides.
