Build galleries from video sources

Video Gallery Premium brings YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, and MP4 videos into responsive, touch-friendly WordPress galleries. Use a gallery for a portfolio, workshop, entertainment collection, or informational content. Layouts adjust to different screen sizes and can work with existing HTML and CSS.

Add YouTube, Vimeo, or Wistia videos by entering their URLs. Source videos need to be public. To add an MP4, upload the file and provide a separate image for its gallery thumbnail; the add-on does not create that image automatically. You can create unlimited galleries and add unlimited videos.

Organize and present a collection

Use multiple categories to organize videos, then select among four Premium themes: Video Portfolio Theme, Image Portfolio Theme, Image Gallery Theme, and Mix Portfolio Theme. Nine menu theme types give you navigation settings. Twelve hover effect types can show titles and descriptions for pictures and videos.

Opening effects are available across all four Premium themes, and the lightbox offers six types. Gallery appearance animations work with both pagination and Load More. Pagination display styles and details such as colors, icons, borders, width, and radius can be adjusted.

Set entry details and publish

Add a custom link to an individual video in gallery views and choose whether it opens on another page. The editor also provides controls for description text color, size, and alignment, along with options for effect speed, locations, and other display details. Galleries can be edited as collections change, with options to add, update, or delete items.

After installing the extension through WordPress, create or edit a gallery, add videos, assign categories, select a theme, and set its effects and navigation. Generate a shortcode and place it where the gallery should appear. Preview the gallery on different screen sizes, then check its lightbox and pagination or Load More behavior before publishing.
