Configure the notice and visitor choices
Create a cookie banner, popup, or modal using available layouts and positions. Adjust the colors and text, add your logo, and choose button styles to fit your site. In the preferences panel, users can accept or reject essential, statistics, and marketing cookies. Per-service toggles let them manage individual tracking services.
For embedded content blocked until consent, configure customizable placeholders. Placeholder images can load from your own site.
Connect choices to scripts and consent signals
WPConsent Pro can block common third-party cookies and tracking scripts until visitors grant the required consent. Supported services include Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, and Microsoft Clarity. The plugin works with Google Consent Mode v2 and Microsoft Clarity Consent Mode. Pro also adds the IAB TCF v2.3 Transparency and Consent Framework for programmatic advertising.
Global Privacy Control support lets the plugin respect preferences sent through a GPC signal automatically, with a clear message for updated CCPA requirements. The WordPress Consent API integration lets other privacy-aware extensions read the consent state.
Set notices by region
Smart geolocation lets you configure different notices for visitors in different regions. For example, show a GDPR-style opt-in banner to EU and UK visitors, a CCPA-style “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” notice to California residents, and a lighter cookie notice elsewhere.
Scan cookies and review records
Automatic cookie scanning helps identify cookies used by your website. Searchable, exportable consent records let you review and document visitor choices from your WordPress installation. Pro also includes eCommerce auto-configuration, automatic translations, and a “Do Not Sell” CCPA add-on.
Install and configure
Install WPConsent Pro in WordPress. From the plugin options, choose the banner layout, wording, colors, logo, categories, and service preferences. Run a cookie scan and review the detected services. Then configure regional notices and integrations, and enable the consent controls your website needs.
