WP Webhooks Pro for WordPress Workflows
A trigger can send data when a user is created, and an action can receive a request and send that user an email. WP Webhooks Pro connects triggers and actions in Flows, which run tasks in sequence. Triggers send data from WordPress; actions receive data from an API or external service and run a function on the website.
Connect WordPress events to services

The extension references more than 100 integrations, including Zapier, Pabbly, Make, Integrately, and automate.io. POST is the default request method; GET, HEAD, PUT, DELETE, TRACE, OPTIONS, and PATCH are also supported. Requests can use XML, JSON, plain text or HTML, forms, and form URL-encoded data.
Choose site events and WordPress actions
- Create or update users and user meta, including with ACF support, and add or remove multiple roles.
- Create posts with post meta or update existing posts.
- Send data after a user logs in, registers, edits a profile, or confirms an email address. Gravity Forms and WPForms submissions can also trigger data sends.
- Connect Paid Member Subscriptions and WP Simple Pay events to external services, or create WooCommerce orders from Airtable data.
- Run PHP code from incoming data or fire an existing WP Webhooks trigger.
Manage access and troubleshoot processes
Pro includes unlimited triggers, actions, Flows, and webhook action URLs, along with Pro integrations, features, and extensions. Test triggers and actions with one click. Authenticate requests with API keys, bearer tokens, or Basic Authentication. IP whitelisting, access tokens, and webhook URL action whitelisting provide additional access controls.
Use data mapping to work with incoming and outgoing data. Bulk webhook actions can start multiple actions at once; shortcode, custom link, button, and WordPress hook actions offer other ways to start an automation. Logs help with debugging. Pro also includes whitelabel functionality and in-plugin extension management. Available extensions include Create Blog Post Via Email, Execute PHP Code, and Code Trigger.
Connect AI services and WordPress Abilities
Integrations for Google Gemini, including Nano Banana support, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Open Router can connect AI services to webhooks for tasks such as content creation and data processing.
On WordPress 6.9 or newer, you can expose individual WP Webhooks actions as WordPress Abilities. Exposure is off by default and configured per action. Each exposed Ability has input and output schemas and a permission check; exposing an action that changes or deletes data requires confirmation. Abilities are available through the WordPress REST API. MCP clients also need an MCP server, such as the MCP Adapter. WP Webhooks can run, list, and describe registered Abilities from an external service through a webhook. You can choose the user those actions run as, and data-changing abilities are controlled by a separate setting.
Set up a process
Activate WP Webhooks, then open Settings > WP Webhooks to configure integrations, triggers, actions, or Flows. Set authentication for external connections, test the setup, and review logs as you refine data mapping and webhook permissions.
