Build flexible blog archives
WP Blog Post Layouts Premium is designed for creating and styling WordPress blog layouts without coding. It provides several archive formats and settings for arranging posts, refining presentation, and controlling the information shown on blog pages. The add-on works with both the Gutenberg Editor and Elementor PageBuilder, giving you a practical way to configure layouts within either supported editing environment.
Use the extension to present default WordPress posts in a structured archive, create a focused category show, or adjust the appearance of a blog page to suit a particular website design. Its settings are organized into Basic Settings, Query Settings, Layout Settings, and Typography Settings.
Choose a layout and variation
Premium includes three main archive layout types: Grid, List, and Masonry. Each type includes three variations, giving you nine layout variations to choose from. Archive columns can be configured up to five columns, allowing the post arrangement to be adjusted for different content presentation needs.
- Grid layouts with three variations
- List layouts with three variations
- Masonry layouts with three variations
- Archive columns configurable up to five columns
These settings can be useful when you want a compact multi-column archive, a more linear list of posts, or a masonry-style presentation for content with varied visual proportions.
Control which posts appear
The category selection option lets you display posts from specific categories. Query settings also provide OrderBy and Order options, allowing posts to be shown according to post date or title in ascending or descending order. A post count setting controls the number of posts displayed in the archive.
You can also set the content length for blog posts, helping you decide how much text appears within the selected layout. Meta information can be shown or hidden, and the post margin option can be enabled or disabled as needed.
Style the archive
WP Blog Post Layouts Premium includes color controls for font color, button background color, border color, and link hover color. A custom typography option can be enabled or disabled, while flexible typography settings are available for the block title, post title, content, meta information, and button.
This combination of layout, query, spacing, color, and typography controls lets you create a blog archive with a more deliberate visual hierarchy. You can use the settings to match an existing design or distinguish a specific blog section from other pages.
Using the plugin
Start by selecting the archive layout type and one of its variations. Next, configure the number of columns, choose a category if required, and set the post order and post count. Adjust content length, meta visibility, and margins before refining colors and typography. The settings panels are designed for drag-and-drop and click-based use, so coding knowledge is not required.
Installation
Install the plugin in WordPress, activate it, and open its settings panels. Configure the Basic, Query, Layout, and Typography settings, then use the resulting archive with Gutenberg or Elementor. The plugin can be used with any WordPress theme according to the supplied product information.
