TrustedSite Certification Pro gives ecommerce businesses shopper-facing trustmarks to display across their sites. Visitors can choose the floating trustmark to see which certifications the site has earned and how it earned them. The on-site modal is available in 31 languages.

Site checks and initial certifications

Install the TrustedSite plugin, allow TrustedSite to check the site for security issues, and provide the information needed to verify key contact details. Passing these checks earns the first two certifications: Certified Secure and Verified Business. Certification Pro raises the visit limit and delivers access to the full set of certifications and trustmarks described for the service.

Certifications available with Pro

• Shopper Identity Protection: Provides customers with protection for 90 days after a purchase, including $100,000 in identity theft protection.
• Trusted Reviews: Displays reviews collected with ResellerRatings or Trustpilot.
• Data Protection: Shows users that login and checkout pages are secure.
• Spam-Free: Helps collect more email addresses by showing visitors that the business does not spam.

Monthly visit counting

Pricing is based on usage and the number of visits received each month. A visit is counted when someone engages in a session during the month. The session cookie lasts 24 hours, and the monthly visit count resets at the beginning of each month. Account reporting shows how many visitors have seen the trustmark during the current month.

Upgrade and trustmark setup

To upgrade, log in to your TrustedSite account and select the Pro option. After the first payment, account setup can be completed in a few minutes. The existing trustmark code stays the same. Additional trustmarks require separate code snippets, with directions provided after the upgrade.
