Set up visual product attributes

TH Variation Swatches Builder Premium replaces default WooCommerce variation controls with swatches for options such as colour, design, and size. Customers can select from colour, image, or button displays instead of relying only on dropdown fields.

Control swatch appearance and behaviour

• Swatch types: Use colour, product or attribute pictures, or buttons for variation options.
• Shapes and labels: Choose rounded or square shapes for supported swatches. Set whether the attribute title, name, and separator appear.
• Attribute behaviour: Configure options to blur or hide.
• Styling: Adjust button swatches and tooltip appearance, with image tooltip options also available.

Tooltips and show locations

Premium features include variation tooltips, highlighted attributes, and stock availability tooltips. These options provide context as shoppers review product choices, including whether an option is available.

Swatches can appear on individual product pages, shop products, archive pages, and quick view displays. Swatch widgets are also available for WooCommerce page sidebars. The interface is designed to work across devices.

Theme compatibility

The plugin is compatible with ThemeHunk themes and almost all WordPress themes. Listed compatible themes include Shop Mania, OceanWP, Jot Shop, Top Store, Big Store, Open Shop, Zita, Royal Shop, Open Mart, Gogo, Almaira Shop, Oneline, Shopline, Storefront, Envo Shop, and Orchid Store.

Installation and setup

1. Upload th-variation-swatches.zip to the /wp-content/add-ons/ directory.
2. Activate the extension from the Plugins menu in WordPress.
3. Open Dashboard > TH Variation Swatches Builder to configure swatch types, shapes, tooltips, styling, display locations, and attribute behaviour.

Documentation is available for setup and use. If a problem occurs, first deactivate other extensions and check whether it continues. Then check the theme and plugin versions, and test with a default theme to see whether the issue is theme-related.
