WP-Optimize Cache Premium combines page caching, image compression, database optimization and minification for WordPress. The page cache stores temporary HTML on the server for quicker retrieval. Image and database tools work on various site resources, while minification reduces supported code files. Premium controls extend caching and optimization across websites and tailor them to different visitors.

Page caching and delivery

Enable caching in one click, then adjust its options for your site. Cache preloading simulates visits to pages and posts so their cache files are ready for visitors. When the server is not already configured for GZIP compression, the plugin can deliver HTML, CSS and JavaScript as compressed files. Premium preload key requests can prioritize resources such as web fonts and icon fonts.

• Separate cache files can be served to desktop and mobile devices.
• Premium role-based caching can serve different content to groups such as resellers and consumers. User-specific caching creates separate files for individual visitors.
• Logged-in visitors can receive cached pages when their content stays consistent. Exclude changing pages, such as account areas, from the cache.
• Exclude content by URL, conditional tags, browser agent strings or cookies. Choose which user roles can purge the cache.

Images, database and code

Image compression supports lossy and lossless settings. You can compress existing images in bulk, apply compression automatically to new uploads, convert images to WebP, retain EXIF data or restore originals. Premium tools can identify orphaned images and remove unused image sizes. Lazy loading brings images and other page parts in as they become visible.

Database cleanup covers items such as revisions, auto drafts, trashed posts and comments, and spam. Premium lets you choose individual database tables or a combination of tables, preview entries available for optimization, and schedule work for a specific time. Available schedules include daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly runs, with additional one-off optimizations.

Minification can process HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Settings allow you to minify or combine supported files, load selected resources asynchronously, exclude files from processing and adjust font handling.

Managing multiple sites

Multisite support extends database optimization across WordPress sites. The graphical interface helps manage scheduled multisite work, and WP-CLI support delivers a command-line option for managing optimizations across many sites. Premium support is available for technical questions about caching and optimization settings.

Getting started

Install and activate the extension in WordPress, enable caching, then review the image, database, minification, lazy loading and preload settings you need. For multisite use, pick the sites and database tables to manage. Set a schedule for recurring optimization.
