These controls can support a GDPR or RGPD process. Overall compliance also depends on your site configuration, the services you use, and the information you provide to visitors.
Visitor choices and service behavior
Show a customizable cookie banner with a dedicated preferences panel. Visitors can accept all services, reject all services, or manage consent for individual services. They can reopen the panel later to review or change their choices. When explicit consent is configured, supported services that require consent remain blocked until permission is granted.
Supported services and Google tags
Automatic detection can simplify setup for supported analytics, advertising, and embedded content integrations. It does not cover every script: custom scripts and unsupported integrations may need additional configuration. Check your site to confirm that services are detected and behave as expected before and after consent.
Google Consent Mode v2
The service supports Google Consent Mode v2 to communicate user choices to compatible Google tags. Configure the consent settings for your Google integrations and check their behavior with your analytics and advertising setup. Consent Mode complements consent collection; it does not replace the banner or correct tag configuration.
Dashboard and accessibility settings
Use the online dashboard to personalize banner and button colors, edit visitor-facing text, configure consent options and service settings, and preview changes. Accessibility-oriented settings include the panel’s position in the document and a link visitors can use to reopen consent preferences. Keep text readable, use sufficient color contrast, and make controls usable when adapting the banner.
Consent statistics
View consent statistics in the dashboard to see how visitors interact with the choices available on your configured site.
