Style Kits Pro and Theme Styles

A Style Kit is a collection of global theme styles, including typography, colors, spacing, and related settings. Style Kits Pro extends Elementor’s Theme Styles editor with additional global controls and reusable presets. Presets define design settings; patterns provide layout structures built with Elementor widgets.

Reuse style presets across websites

Presets include preconfigured typography, colors, spacing, and other design settings. Import one to establish a visual direction, then tailor it for the project. You can also create your own starting point. Presets can be imported and exported across websites to reuse a design foundation on multiple Elementor projects or give related websites a consistent starting point.

Build layouts with container patterns

The pattern library offers unlimited access to layouts built with Elementor flexbox containers and native widgets. Mix patterns for different layout needs; their styles adapt to the website’s global theme styles. Activate the relevant Elementor container experiment to use this library. Websites that still use sections and columns can continue to access the older Template Kits library. The patterns can work with existing themes when Elementor is installed and activated.

Manage global design controls

Pro access includes unlimited use of controls in Elementor’s Theme Styles editor for:

• Global Style Kit fonts and colors
• Container padding and spacing
• Shadows and background classes
• Button styles by size
• Outer section padding
• Column gaps and text sizes

Use these settings to standardize layouts, then refine individual pages as needed. You can also override a page’s global theme styles with another theme style preset.

Manage client access and clean up layouts

User role management lets you hide Style Kits from clients. Cleanup utilities remove inline styles from layouts, helping keep designs organized during development and revisions.

Installation and compatibility

Install and activate Elementor, then install and activate Style Kits Pro. To use the container-based pattern library, activate the relevant Elementor container experiment. Next, import a theme style preset or configure global controls in the Theme Styles editor, then pick available patterns and adjust them for the project.

Style Kits works with the free version of Elementor. Patterns that require Elementor Pro widgets, such as contact form or call to action widgets, will not be imported without Elementor Pro. The remaining Style Kits functionality works with the free version.
