WordPress Creation Kit provides admin tools for defining custom fields, metaboxes, post types, and taxonomies. WCK PRO includes ways to display and manage that structured content from the front end. Field values use standard WordPress custom fields and are saved as postmeta.

Set up fields for your content

Custom Fields Creator builds metaboxes for posts, pages, and custom post types. Its field types include WYSIWYG editor, upload, text, textarea, select, checkbox, radio, number, HTML, time-picker, phone, currency select, color picker, and heading. WCK PRO adds date-picker, country select, visitor select, and CPT select fields.

Assign fields to selected page templates, custom post types, or individual IDs. Repeater Fields and Repeater Groups hold repeatable information, and repeater fields can be sorted with drag and drop. Image and file uploads use the WordPress Media Uploader; data handling uses Ajax.

Field slugs are generated from field titles. For a book record, for example, separate “Book name” and “Author name” fields can be referenced by their generated slugs in code or displayed through Swift Templates.
