Image optimization for WordPress

QODE Optimizer Premium adds image processing controls for WordPress. Optimize pictures individually or in bulk, set maximum image width and height, pick compression methods and quality for JPG, PNG and GIF files, and remove image metadata.

WebP creation has its own conversion method and compression quality options. You can also choose a backup method, include additional folders in optimization, and review processing steps in the system log.

Premium automation and conversion options

Enable automatic optimization for uploaded images, or turn off optimization for specific images. Premium also lets you disable creation of selected image sizes and display “Regenerate” links for supported image management tasks.

• Convert JPG to PNG, PNG to JPG, or GIF to PNG.
• Apply additional JPG or PNG compression after conversion and set its quality.
• Set a background fill color for JPG conversions of images with transparent backgrounds.
• Delete original image files automatically after conversion.
• Convert PNG to WebP without loss.

WebP delivery, watermarks and review

For WebP delivery, choose rewriting rules for Apache or LiteSpeed servers, including Picture WebP rewriting. Watermark tools let you add watermarks to regular images and choose their position.

Use the system log to see the steps taken for each image and review how the selected compression, conversion or resizing settings affected it. This can help when adjusting settings for individual images or bulk processing.
