bbPress Notify Premium for Role-Based Forum Emails
bbPress Notify Premium handles email updates for new topics and replies in bbPress and BuddyBoss forums. To control who receives an alert, administrators can target user roles such as administrators, moderators, and members. If separate messages create too much inbox activity, the Digests add-on can group updates into daily, weekly, or monthly summaries.

Adjust message format and templates
Choose HTML, plain-text, or multipart email output. Image support is available for notifications. Administrators can adjust recipients and templates in the options screens, while developers can use dozens of filters and actions to tailor notification behavior for a site's process.
When notification volume affects submissions
Background sending can move notifications to wp-cron. This is intended to help prevent post-submission timeouts when many users need to be notified at once. For larger communities, the Bulk Mailer add-on is available for sending notifications to thousands of users without timeouts or dropped emails.
Dry-execute mode previews who will receive notifications before messages are sent. Administrators can review the intended audience and adjust recipient targeting before changing live forum activity.
Add-ons for other community workflows
Reply by Email lets users create topics or post replies directly from their inbox. The Opt-Out add-on includes one-click unsubscribe options for users who do not want particular notifications. Membership and LMS Bridges are available for websites that need notifications to stay in sync with access control. Listed integrations include BuddyPress, BuddyBoss, MemberPress, LearnDash, AccessAlly, Ultimate Member, and Private Groups.
Install and configure
Install the extension on a WordPress site with bbPress or BuddyBoss forum functionality, then open the dedicated bbPress Notify (No-Spam) menu in the WordPress administration area. Configure recipients, message formats, templates, and background notifications. Review the intended recipients with dry-run mode, then add extensions for reply by email, bulk sending, digests, opt-out controls, or membership and LMS connections as needed.
