Events Shortcodes Pro for WordPress Event Listings
Events Shortcodes Pro adds ways to place event listings from The Events Calendar in WordPress pages, posts, landing pages, widget areas, and custom sections. The Events Calendar must be installed and active to provide the events. Add a shortcode and set its attributes, configure the Gutenberg Events block in its settings panel, or place the Events component in a Bricks Builder page or template.

Choose a show for the page
List, Timeline, and Minimal List styles present events as a schedule, a chronological sequence, or a compact listing. Pro adds Grid, Carousel, Slider, Masonry, Accordion, calendar-style, and highlighted layouts. Grid arranges events as cards; Carousel and Slider show sliding event selections. Masonry uses a flexible grid, Accordion makes listings expandable, and calendar-style views focus on schedules. Highlighted layouts give selected events more emphasis.
Control which events appear
Choose events by category or date range, or show future events, past events, or all event archives. Shortcode controls let you set the event limit, select ascending or descending order, and choose a date format. Depending on the listing configuration, display settings can also control venue visibility, time selection, and social sharing.
Pro adds options to make listings by venue, organizer, or tag, and to show featured events. These controls can help group events by location, responsible organization, or topic, or give selected events their own section.
Let visitors narrow the listing
The Pro filter bar appears on the frontend so visitors can search and narrow event listings on the page. Available filters include categories, venues, organizers, and other supported options. It can help visitors view schedules on sites with many events, programs, or locations.
Add and configure an event listing
- Install and activate The Events Calendar and Events Shortcodes Pro in WordPress.
- Open the page, post, widget, or supported builder template where the events should appear.
- Insert a shortcode, the Gutenberg Events block, or the Bricks Events component.
- Choose a layout and configure filters, dates, categories, sorting, and event limits.
- Save or publish the content, then review the listing on the page.
With shortcodes, block settings, or Bricks element controls, event selection and presentation can be adjusted within the website’s editing workflow.
