WordPress plugin
OMGF Pro for measured, locally hosted WordPress fonts
OMGF Pro extends WordPress font detection and local delivery for sites where themes, add-ons, page builders, or JavaScript add web fonts. It detects Google Fonts, Bunny Fonts, and Jetpack CDN font resources, then downloads supported fonts to the website server. Local delivery can remove related DNS lookups and render-blocking requests.

How does measured optimization guide font loading?
Smart Optimize measures real visitor pageviews to identify the fonts, subsets, and weights used above the fold. Those measurements guide which resources to preload and which to strip out.
Magic Fallbacks uses each Google Font’s metrics to generate a system font fallback. Its size-adjust and ascent-override settings bring the fallback closer to the intended font and can reduce visible text movement while the web font loads.
Where can Pro find fonts?
Detection reaches font sources that standard stylesheet references may miss, including:
- Inline style blocks containing
@font-faceor@import, and local or externally hosted stylesheets using@import. - Web Font Loader and Google Fonts injected asynchronously by JavaScript.
- WordPress’s Font Manager or Font Library.
- Variable fonts using the Google Fonts CSS2 format, plus Material Icons.
Pro also applies font-show control across every font on the site, not only Google Fonts. When appropriate, font families can be replaced entirely with system fonts.
Which site setups does it support?
OMGF Pro works with automatic Multisite and WPML operation. Fonts and stylesheets can use a custom CDN or path. Whitelabel options remove OMGF branding and comments from stylesheets, reducing their file size, and Developer Mode supports migrations between development, staging, and production environments.
It is designed to work alongside optimization plugins and page builders such as Autoptimize, FlyingPress, Kinsta, LiteSpeed Cache, SiteGround Speed Optimizer, W3 Total Cache, WP Fastest Cache, WP-Optimize, WP Rocket, WP Super Cache, Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, Bricks, Oxygen, and Visual Composer.
How do you use it?
Install OMGF Pro in WordPress and let it scan for supported font sources. Review the detected families, subsets, and weights, then use Smart Optimize and the available font controls to refine the setup. Check the resulting pages and performance data after changes, especially if a theme, plugin, or page builder introduces new fonts.
