Galleries in WordPress

Meow Gallery Pro lets you add image galleries with the WordPress Gallery Block or a shortcode, or replace the standard WordPress gallery display. You can switch back from the override when needed.

Choose a view for the pictures

Meow Gallery includes Tiles, Masonry, Justified, Square, Cascade, and Horizontal layouts. Tiles adapts a grid to image orientation, Masonry stacks images in columns, and Justified arranges them in rows while keeping each image's shape. All layouts are responsive and retina-ready.

The Pro edition adds Carousel and Map layouts. Carousel displays images in a slider that can also work as a hero display. Map places photos according to their GPS information, so a location-based gallery depends on photos having GPS data.

Loading and presentation

Use infinite or lazy loading to bring gallery images in progressively. Animations add movement to the presentation.

Use with other WordPress utilities

Meow Gallery works with any lightbox; Meow Lightbox is recommended in the product information. It is compatible with Photo Engine for media organization and Lightroom synchronization, and with Gallery Custom Links for custom image URLs. Audio Story Images can add audio to images. Automatic sitemap integration works with Yoast SEO and other SEO plugins.

Add a gallery to a page

Install Meow Gallery Pro, add images through the Gallery Block, a shortcode, or the standard gallery override, then choose a layout. Use Carousel for a slider or hero-style sequence, or choose Map for photos with GPS information. Configure infinite or lazy loading and animations as needed.
