Loading Page with Loading Screen Premium: Image-Based Progress
Loading Page with Loading Screen Premium preloads page images and displays a progress screen with a percentage calculated from those images. The percentage shows picture-loading progress, not the status of every page resource. When loading finishes, the screen disappears; you can pick an animation to reveal the page content.

Progress screen and lazy loading
The progress screen gives visitors a visual cue while page images are preloaded. Premium lazy loading handles a separate task: it delays images outside the current viewing area until they enter view. This can reduce downloads and bandwidth when visitors do not scroll to those images. You can choose a placeholder image to show for delayed images; the plugin recommends using a lightweight one.
Screen style, placement, and appearance
Choose a bar, logo, or text screen, with additional screen choices in Premium. A text screen can display the site title or another short text, and the logo screen can use a selected image. You can show or conceal the loading percentage and select an animation for displaying page content after loading finishes.
Set the screen to appear on the homepage, across all pages, or on selected pages and posts. Target selected content by ID or URL rules, including partial URLs and wildcards, and exclude pages or posts by ID. Choose desktop, mobile, or both, and set the screen to appear once per session. An additional-seconds setting can keep it visible briefly after loading completes.
Appearance options include foreground and background colors. You can also use a background image, displayed tiled or centered, and adjust it to fullscreen. The loading screen can include an ad or another block of code.
Configuration
After activating the extension, open its settings from Settings > Loading Page or use the settings link in the Plugins area. Enable the screen, select its page or post scope and devices, and add any exclusions. Then choose a screen style, set its colors and optional background image, and configure the percentage and reveal animation.
In the Premium lazy-loading settings, enable delayed image loading and select a placeholder. If another gallery plugin already lazy-loads images, you can enter class or attribute text in the troubleshooting settings to exclude matching image tags.
