Cryptocurrency payments and supported assets

NOWPayments for WooCommerce Pro connects WooCommerce checkout to the NOWPayments platform through an API. The gateway supports more than 300 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Monero, Solana, Cardano, Polygon, USDT, USDC and DAI. Its coin list syncs automatically from NOWPayments to reflect the assets available through the platform.

Settlement and checkout

Stores can configure automatic conversion to a preferred settlement currency and set payouts to wallets or bank accounts. The add-on includes sandbox mode for testing and supports compatible WooCommerce Blocks checkout experiences.

Subscriptions and cryptocurrency shows

Pro adds cryptocurrency subscription payments alongside tools for showing crypto information across product pages, shop pages, widget areas and other suitable shop locations.

These show tools add context around the shopping experience: icons identify supported assets, while tickers, cards, tables and graphs show cryptocurrency information. Subscription support fits stores offering recurring products or services that want to include cryptocurrency in that payment process.

Setup and support

Configure API keys in the NOWPayments Dashboard, then enable the gateway in WooCommerce settings. To review the configuration and payment flow before accepting cryptocurrency payments, use a sandbox account with the add-on’s sandbox mode.

The gateway includes professional merchant support. The Pro edition includes priority support and continuous feature updates.
