Build and place forms

Lead Form Builder Pro creates responsive WordPress forms for contact requests, registrations, newsletters, and lead generation. Start with a pre-built template or create a form, then arrange fields with drag and drop. Form creation is unlimited. Add a form to a page, post, or widget with its generated shortcode.

The add-on supports the WordPress Block Editor and page builders including Elementor, Brizy, SiteOrigin, and Gutenberg. It also provides Lead Form Builder and Advance Lead Form blocks.

Set fields and appearance

Choose text or name, email, URL, number, textarea, radio button, checkbox, date, dropdown, or file upload fields. A placeholder can serve as a default value. Set the form size to small, medium, or large, and configure colors for fields, headings, and buttons. Header and form backgrounds can use a color or picture. The Live Customizer lets you adjust the presentation, and custom CSS is available for further styling.

You can set a custom thank-you message or redirect visitors to a thank-you page after submission. Forms can also be reset when needed.

Handle submissions and email

Choose to receive leads by email, save them in the database, or do both. The lead management area shows submissions separately for each form. Pro lead tracing can include details such as IP address, country, operating system, and browser, and lead export is available.

Configure email options separately for administrators and users, including distinct “from” and “to” settings. The plugin supports unlimited email notifications, autoresponders for form submitters, and SMTP mail configuration.

Spam protection and integrations

Spam protection options include Google reCAPTCHA v2 and v3 and Cloudflare Turnstile. Google One Tap Login is also listed as a premium capability. MailChimp supports newsletter workflows. The Lead Form Styler Elementor addon provides additional styling options for Elementor forms.

Form import and export tools help move form configurations. These tools are separate from lead export, which exports submission data.

Typical setup

1. Select a pre-built template or create a new form.
2. Add and arrange the required fields.
3. Configure notifications, autoresponders, lead storage, and spam protection.
4. Adjust sizing, colors, backgrounds, and other styling options.
5. Generate the shortcode and place the form in a page, post, widget, or supported editor.
6. Review submissions in the lead management area and export leads when needed.

Installation

Upload lead-form-builder.zip to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory, then activate it from the Plugins menu in WordPress. Create a form, configure its settings, and insert the generated shortcode where you want the form to appear.
