Inline Related Posts Pro: Choose Where Related Links Appear
Inline Related Posts Pro places related-post boxes inside WordPress articles, giving readers links to other posts as they move through the content. Automatic placement can add multiple boxes across posts, while shortcodes let you select where a box appears and which posts it can show.

Automatic placement in article content
The add-on detects line breaks and reads HTML tags to find suitable insertion points. This helps avoid placing a box in the middle of a paragraph or heading. You can also use it alongside another related-post extension, since Inline Related Posts places its boxes within the article rather than at the end.
Styles for inline boxes
The Pro edition adds styles and features. The plugin offers more than 20 combinations of themes, colors, and hover effects. These options let you adjust how recommendation boxes look within your website’s content layout.
Choose posts with shortcodes
Use [irp] to place a box where the shortcode appears. Add post IDs, category IDs, or tag IDs to narrow the recommendations. Separate multiple IDs with commas.
[irp posts="183,179,191,195"]displays a link to a random post from the listed posts.[irp cats="3"]targets posts in the selected category or categories.[irp tags="18"]targets posts with the selected tag or tags.
Set up the plugin
Install and activate the plugin in WordPress, then configure its placement and presentation options. Choose automatic insertion for posts or add shortcodes to selected content. Review the boxes on representative posts to check their positions and appearance.
