Independent Analytics Pro extends WordPress dashboard analytics with reports for campaign traffic, visitor activity, and conversions. The core add-on reports on users, page views, sessions, engagement, referrers, locations, and devices.
Tracking starts after installation without a manually added JavaScript snippet or code snippet. Analytics data is created and stored in your site’s WordPress database. Independent Analytics does not require a Google account, use cookies, store personal data, or communicate with external servers.
Follow campaign traffic and visitor activity
UTM campaign tracking connects visits with tagged links. The Pro real-time report shows current website activity, while click tracking records interactions with links and buttons. User Journeys offers a timeline for each recorded session, including clicks, form submissions, and ecommerce orders, so you can review how visitors move through the site.
Measure forms and store sales
- Form tracking: Record submissions and see where leads come from. Integrations cover more than 20 form plugins, including WPForms, Contact Form 7, Fluent Forms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, and Formidable Forms.
- eCommerce tracking: Review sales for WooCommerce, FluentCart, Easy Digital Downloads, SureCart, and PaidMembershipsPro.
Shape and share your reports
Configure the Overview report around the information you use most. Solo reports display data for individual pages and referrers. HTML email reports can be scheduled daily, weekly, or monthly for you and your clients. Analytics access can also be shared with other team members.
Bloggers can see which posts readers view, and news sites can monitor current interest with updating analytics and post views in the Posts menu. Stores can compare product views, visitor searches, traffic sources, and sales. Startups can review where early visitors come from, while agencies can give clients reports inside WordPress.
Setup and data limits
Install and activate Independent Analytics through the WordPress Plugins menu or upload the add-on there. Tracking begins after activation. If you use a caching plugin and do not see visits, clear the cache once and check again.
Independent Analytics can run alongside Google Analytics. It cannot import data from Google Analytics, Jetpack Stats, or other analytics tools.
