Cash App payment options

Checkout with Cash App on WooCommerce PRO, also known as WooCash, adds two payment methods to WooCommerce checkout. Cash App Link shows your store’s $cashtag and redirects customers to Cash App to complete payment off-website. You can also enter a Cash App name, email address, and phone number to display to customers.

Cash App Pay uses an end-to-end API integration connected to a Square merchant account. Cash App Link requires a Cash App account; Cash App Pay requires a Square merchant account. Choose the method that matches the account you use.

Order status updates

PRO visitors can use automated order status updates to move an order from on-hold to processing when the order amount is received. For Cash App Link payments, emailreceipts.io can track payments, update order statuses, and email customers when a status changes. Without that service, update the order status manually in WooCommerce.

WooCommerce compatibility

• Supports High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) and WooCommerce Blocks.
• Works with translation plugins such as Loco and WPML for checkout, thank-you page, and email notices.
• Can be used with SMS for WooCommerce to send personalized bulk email and SMS notifications for orders that remain on hold.

Setup

Install and activate the extension, then open its options from the Cash App menu in your WordPress dashboard or from WooCommerce > Settings > Payments. Enter the Cash App details for Cash App Link or configure the Square merchant connection for Cash App Pay. Enable the payment method you want to offer, then test its checkout flow.
