Build an interactive image

Draw Attention Pro is the paid edition of the Interactive Image Map Plugin, Draw Attention. Add highlighted areas to an image so visitors can click or tap to open related information or follow a link. Hotspots can also respond to mouse movement.

Use image maps to annotate floor plans, trade display layouts, infographics, product tours, tutorials, sketches, affiliate content, or WooCommerce product functions. You can create multiple maps, each with an unlimited number of highlightable areas, for various properties, products, diagrams, locations, or parts of a visual guide.

Draw and configure hotspots

Create polygon, rectangle, and circle shapes in the WordPress dashboard. Zoom and pan help with placement. You can edit a shape later or recreate it when the image changes.

Each hotspot can reveal text, images, shortcodes, galleries, video, audio, or other content, and can link to another URL. Choose how visitors see that information, including in a tooltip or lightbox. You can keep hotspots highlighted so visitors can see the interactive areas before selecting one.

Set colors, borders, and opacity for individual hotspots. Choose from 20 preset color palettes or use a custom color scheme.

Place the map on your website

Interactive maps resize to fit the theme and available screen size, including tablet and mobile displays. Add a finished map to a page or post with a shortcode, the WordPress Editor Block, or the Beaver Builder module. These settings work for landing pages, product information, documentation, blog content, and property listings.

Keyboard and screen reader access

Hotspots can be reached with keyboard commands, and their content is available to screen readers. With progressive enhancement, content remains accessible when JavaScript is disabled through a standard image-map fallback.

Install and publish

Install Draw Attention Pro in WordPress and open it from the dashboard. Create an interactive image, upload or select an image, draw the polygon, rectangle, or circle hotspots, then add content, links, colors, and show settings to each area. Publish the map with a shortcode, block, or Beaver Builder module, then review it on desktop and touch devices.
