Call for Price for WooCommerce Pro: Product Inquiry Options
Call for Price for WooCommerce Pro replaces a public product price with a custom message that invites shoppers to ask questions, request a quotation, or discuss their requirements. Stores can use this approach for wholesale and B2B products, custom-built or made-to-order items, negotiated or frequently changing prices, and catalog products that need discussion before an order. Products with fixed prices can remain available for direct purchase.
When a product needs an inquiry before checkout
Call for Price for WooCommerce Pro replaces a public product price with a custom message that invites shoppers to ask questions, request a quotation, or discuss their requirements. Stores can use this approach for wholesale and B2B products, custom-built or made-to-order items, negotiated or frequently changing prices, and catalog products that need discussion before an order. Products with fixed prices can remain available for direct purchase.
Choose the products that show an inquiry message
Product-level options can target individual items, while rules can apply the display to groups across the catalog. The available conditions include selected categories or product tags, a defined price range, products without a price, and products that are out of stock or on backorder. A catalog-wide setting can show the message for every product. User role restrictions let stores set different pricing behavior for different customer groups.
Product types and variations
The plugin supports simple, variable, grouped, and external affiliate products. For variable products, individual variations can have their own settings and custom messages. This lets the inquiry prompt account for differences in settings, specifications, quantities, or availability.
Connect the message to a contact route
Customers can be directed to contact the store by Phone, WhatsApp, or Email, or to follow a custom URL. Contact form integrations are also available for collecting customer requirements through a form. Choose the route that fits the inquiry, such as a call about a custom product or an email requesting a wholesale quotation.
Adjust the storefront around inquiry pricing
You can customize the default Call for Price text and choose how related storefront components appear. Options include hiding or replacing Add to Cart and Read More buttons, hiding Sale badges on Call for Price products, and hiding disabled Add to Cart buttons for unavailable variations. Stock availability can remain visible while prices are hidden.
Set up the inquiry flow
- Install and activate Call for Price for WooCommerce Pro in your WordPress store.
