The Events Calendar Shortcode & Block Pro places listings from The Events Calendar Plugin by StellarWP, formerly Modern Tribe, in WordPress content. The calendar add-on must be installed and contain events to display.

Choose where and how listings appear

Add a shortcode to a post, page, or widget, insert the WordPress block in the editor, or use the Elementor widget or Bricks element. Pro includes seven designs, including a true calendar view, compact and column-based layouts, and events grouped by day. For a custom presentation, use Shortcode Variables or templates. The add-on works with any WordPress theme.

Filter events and refine the listing

When a listing includes more events than intended, check its category or tags, date settings, location, featured status, and result limit. Pro can show events for a selected month, year, day, date range, or number of days ahead. Location filters include city, state or province, and country. You can also show previous events, conceal events once they start, or show only the first instance of a recurring event.

• Choose the event order and the number of results.
• Show or hide dates, venues, thumbnails, excerpts, and the link to view all events.
• Display the full event description instead of an excerpt, or show only the start time.
• Set the order of event details.

Use multiple shortcodes on one page, each with its own settings. Pro also adds a filter bar so users can choose which events to see, and pagination for browsing additional results.

Install and activate The Events Calendar, then add events to its calendar. Install and activate The Events Calendar Shortcode & Block Pro, and place a listing with the shortcode, WordPress block, Elementor widget, or Bricks element.
