Invoices and documents for WooCommerce orders

Challan Pro is the paid edition of the Challan PDF invoice add-on for WooCommerce. Challan can generate PDF invoices when orders are placed or their statuses change, attach them to selected order emails, and make them manually from the WooCommerce orders page. The dashboard also manages packing slips, shipping labels and delivery notes.

Invoices can include order details, billing and shipping addresses, product names, quantities, SKUs, tax breakdowns, discounts, coupon information, payment method and status, and custom notes. Pro adds custom fields, order metadata, product attributes and custom checkout fields. It also works with credit notes for refunds, proforma invoices, product images, digital signatures, more than 20 paid stamp designs, automatic Dropbox backup and recurring invoices for WooCommerce Subscriptions.

Invoice content and layout

Choose from more than 10 premium invoice templates. Add a company logo, business name and address, and custom header or footer text. Supported paper sizes are A4, A5, Letter and A3. Custom CSS offers further layout control, and right-to-left support is available for Arabic, Hebrew and Persian.

Packing, shipping and bulk documents

Packing slips can show product names, quantities, SKUs, weights and custom instructions. Prices can be hidden for dropshipping, and packing slips can be printed in bulk. Shipping labels and delivery notes can include delivery addresses, phone numbers and email addresses. Labels support multiple formats and bulk downloads by date range.

For larger order sets, filter bulk downloads by date range or order status, then save invoices as separate documents in a ZIP archive or merge them into one PDF. Pro adds QR code and barcode support.

Languages and tax details

Challan supports invoice font rendering for Bengali, Arabic, Hindi, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese and other languages. With WPML, Polylang or Weglot, Pro can generate an invoice in the language used for the customer's order.

For Indian GST invoices, Pro supports GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes and CGST, SGST and IGST breakdowns. For Saudi Arabian e-invoicing, it supports ZATCA requirements, including QR code generation and required fields.

Setup

Install WooCommerce and the Challan plugin in WordPress, then add Challan Pro. From the Challan dashboard, configure seller information, invoice templates, document options and email attachments. After setup, documents can be generated automatically or managed from WooCommerce orders and the bulk download area.
