Bring reviews into WordPress

WP TripAdvisor Review Slider Pro downloads reviews and stores them in your WordPress database on your server. Your site displays the stored reviews locally instead of requesting them from TripAdvisor on every page view. Add multiple TripAdvisor business URLs, download reviews for each location, and select which source a template displays. Pro also supports downloading and displaying reviews from Facebook Pages, Google, Yelp, and more than 50 other review sites.

Choose a layout for each page

Display reviews in a slider, responsive grid, or list. Sliders can display multiple reviews per row and across multiple rows. Add a summary badge beside or above reviews, show the badge alone, or use a floating badge that opens a review panel when clicked.

Create multiple templates and place them in posts, pages, or widgets with a shortcode, widget, or template function. Filter templates by review source to show the relevant location or review site on each page.

Control which reviews appear

Filter reviews by rating, choose reviews for a template, hide reviews without text, and sort them randomly or by newest. In the Review List, you can hide, edit, or delete individual reviews. Pro also lets you download more reviews than the latest ones and manually insert reviews.

Download and show user-added TripAdvisor photos, which open in a lightbox when clicked. Choose from additional date formats, set the read-more link, and add a Load More button for review pagination. Review summaries can use automatically generated review snippet markup for Google Search.

Adjust slider behavior and follow reviews

Configure autoplay and speed, hide arrows or dots, show one review per slide on mobile, and keep reviews at the same height. The slider can pause on mouse hover and advance with a finger swipe on mobile. Other display controls cover avatars, reviewer name format, verified badges, source icons, colors, font sizes, and border radius, with custom CSS and child-theme style overrides for further adjustments.

Pro can email you when new low reviews are found. Review charts and graphs help you analyze collected feedback, and CSV export lets you save reviews to your computer. The add-on also includes a front-end review submission form and additional template styles.

Set up a source and template

1. Install and activate the extension in WordPress.
2. Find the TripAdvisor business page you want to use, copy its URL, and paste it into the plugin’s Get TripAdvisor Reviews page.
3. Download reviews from the selected source, create a template, and place it in a post, page, or widget using a shortcode, widget, or template function.

To check TripAdvisor for new reviews automatically, enable the Pro cron job option for a daily check. For multiple locations, add each business URL and assign the appropriate source to each template.
