Gallery layouts and browsing
Visitors can filter portfolio entries by category, with smooth isotope animations between results. Choose a grid with overlay, a masonry layout with varied image heights, or traditional columns. Drag and drop items to set their order independently of dates or menu order. Galleries adapt to desktop, tablet, and mobile screens, and selected blog posts can also appear in a portfolio grid.
For image galleries, the built-in lightbox opens high-resolution images in a popup without leaving the page. Thumbnail options include portrait, cinema, square, and uncropped aspect ratios.
Image and video show
Portfolio PRO supports video projects from YouTube, Vimeo, and self-hosted MP4 documents. Video lightboxes let visitors watch projects in a popup. You can also add video backgrounds on hover using Giphy or self-hosted videos. Color options cover overlays, text, and hover effects.
Private photo proofing
Photo proofing is for client review, separate from a public portfolio gallery. Create a private proofing gallery, share it through a secret link, and collect client photo selections for approval in the WordPress dashboard.
Setup and support
Install the plugin on your WordPress site and open its portfolio tools in the dashboard. Create portfolio items, add project details and media, organize them with categories or tags, and pick a layout. Publish the gallery with the Portfolio block, a shortcode, or a supported page builder. For video projects, add a YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted MP4 source, then adjust lightbox, hover, and color settings for the page. Portfolio PRO also includes priority support from the WPZOOM team for portfolio-related help.
