Build courses and assess learners
Create unlimited courses and lessons, then add interactive learning content, assignments, requirements, instructions, previews, attachments, reviews, ratings, and difficulty settings. Lessons can use self-hosted video, YouTube, Vimeo, or embedded video. Learners can take notes on lessons and videos as they study.
The quiz builder supports interactive question types, timers, and attempt limits. Prerequisites set conditions for course access, while content drip schedules when lessons and other materials become available. Progress tracking, calendars, notifications, and assignment tools help instructors organize course activity and review learner work.
Manage learners and instructors
Role-specific dashboards give administrators, instructors, and students access to information relevant to their work. Administrators and instructors can manage courses and learners; students can follow their course activity and progress. Manual enrollment is available when learners need to be added directly, and multi-instructor tools let instructors collaborate on a course.
Sell courses and manage access
Tutor LMS includes native eCommerce tools for selling courses from a WordPress site. Sales processes can include guest checkout, coupons, taxes, purchase history, earnings and commission allocation, and withdrawal options. Subscription plans, course bundles, gift courses, and revenue reporting support additional ways to manage course access and sales.
The Pro edition supports premium add-ons such as certificates, reports, assignments, social login, content drip, calendar tools, email capabilities, gradebook, prerequisites, quiz import and export, H5P, Google Meet, and Zoom integration. WooCommerce, membership, and payment integrations can support course sales, subscriptions, and commission management.
Customize and connect the learning site
Tutor LMS works with page builders including Elementor, Divi, Oxygen Builder, and Kirki. Dedicated Elementor add-ons and Divi modules, course widgets, customizable layouts, responsive themes, and marketplace features provide options for shaping the learner experience. Migration tools support moving course, sales, and student data from LearnDash, LearnPress, and Lifter LMS.
Manage access and course content
Available controls include copy protection, hotlink prevention, login session management, email verification, honeypot and reCAPTCHA integration, and two-factor authentication. GDPR compliance support helps administrators manage course user data and consent entries.
