TIV Globus is the Pro edition of WPGlobus and the successor to WPGlobus Plus and WooCommerce WPGlobus. It adds translated page addresses, WooCommerce translations, and page-builder support while keeping the multilingual workflow under your control.

Enter content for each language

Choose one or more languages, then enter translations in the relevant fields. TIV Globus does not translate text automatically. You can translate post and page titles, content, excerpts, custom post types, categories, tags, menus, widgets, the Site Title, and the Tagline. Multilingual SEO titles and meta descriptions are compatible with the free version of Yoast SEO.

Set language URLs and switching

Configure each language with a country flag, locale, and show name. Languages can use different URL structures, such as /es/ and /fr/. You can also translate each page address and slug, for example /fr/ma-page/ or /es/mi-pagina/.

These language URLs require a pretty permalink structure. The Plain setting and URLs such as ?p=123 do not work. Visitors can switch languages with a drop-down menu extension or a customizable widget. Administrators can change the WordPress interface language from the top bar.

Translate store and page-builder content

For WooCommerce, translate products, categories, and attributes. Set the store bases explicitly, such as /product/; if they are blank, WooCommerce may translate a base and cause 404 errors. TIV Globus works with or without WooCommerce.

Page builders including Elementor and Avada can be used in every language. Theme and plugin text is translatable when it passes through standard WordPress filters; components that generate their own output may not be multilingual-ready.

Migration and language data

TIV Globus replaces WPGlobus and retains its existing settings and translations. The add-on uses a browser cookie to remember the visitor’s language preference. The cookie stores only a language code, such as en or es, and no personal information.

Translations are stored together in a special format. If TIV Globus is deactivated or uninstalled, language versions can appear together and make the website unreadable. Before deactivation or removal, use the cleanup tool in the plugin settings to remove all languages except one. Multisite mode is not tested or officially supported.
