SVG Flags Pro
SVG Flags Pro extends SVG Flags - Country Flag Blocks and Galleries with more ways to present flags in WordPress. Its searchable selector includes 271 current country, territory, regional, and organisation flags. Country and territory flags use alpha-2 codes; the bundled flag-icons library also supplies codes for regional and organisation flags.
Choose flags and set their proportions

Its searchable selector includes 271 current country, territory, regional, and organisation flags. Country and territory flags use alpha-2 codes; the bundled flag-icons library also supplies codes for regional and organisation flags.
SVG flags scale without losing quality and keep a fixed aspect ratio: 4:3 by default or 1:1 for square displays. In the block editor, select a flag and set its size, ratio, captions, and layout. The live preview shows the result as you configure it.
Blocks for flags and galleries
The add-on delivers three dynamic blocks:
- SVG Flag renders a lightweight flag with CSS.
- SVG Flag Image creates an accessible picture with country-name alternative text.
- SVG Flag Grid arranges flags in a responsive gallery with up to eight columns, adjustable spacing, captions, and square or 4:3 proportions.
Linked displays and visitor search
SVG Flags Pro includes linked flag cards and responsive linked grids for collections where each flag serves as a link. A searchable flag directory helps visitors find an entry. Headings, custom captions, and tooltips add context, while presentation controls let you adjust how the flags appear.
Use the editor or shortcodes
Build displays in the block editor with visual controls and a live preview. Shortcodes are also available for classic-editor content and templates:
- Single flag:
[svg-flag flag="gb"] - Accessible image:
[svg-flag-image flag="fr"] - Gallery:
[svg-flag-grid flags="gb,us,ca,fr" columns="4" caption="true"]
Install SVG Flags Pro on your WordPress website, add blocks in the editor or place a shortcode in classic content or a template, then select flags and configure the show.
