Reno Product Category Pro adds layout and display controls for WooCommerce category showcases. Choose a slider or carousel for horizontal browsing, or a grid for a direct overview. Show category names, thumbnails or custom pictures, product counts, descriptions, and a Shop Now button. The layouts are responsive for desktop, tablet, and smartphone screens.

Categories and display options

Select categories to include or hide, exclude empty categories, and limit how many appear. Pro works with parent, child, grandchild, and great-grandchild categories, as well as additional slider and grid layouts.

Choose which category details to display, then adjust colors, spacing, borders, box shadows, padding, and margins to suit the shop theme. Category showcases can also be imported or exported.

Slider controls

Set autoplay and slide speed, enable infinite looping, and choose whether to display navigation arrows and dots. Touch and swipe gestures are supported, and the slider can pause on hover.

Placement and compatible tools

Create a showcase in the WordPress dashboard, choose its categories and layout, configure display settings, and generate a shortcode. Add the shortcode to a post, page, or widget area. Gutenberg customers can insert the slider directly into content. The plugin also lists compatibility with Elementor, Divi Builder, WPBakery, BeaverBuilder, SiteOrigin, and Fusion Builder.

Multilingual support and setup

The Pro edition is described as multilingual ready for WPML, Polylang, Loco Translate, qTranslate-x, GTranslate, Google Language Translator, and WPGlobus.

To set up a showcase, choose its categories and layout from the add-on dashboard, configure the visible details and styling, then generate and place its shortcode. In Gutenberg, insert the slider directly into the content.
