SEO Ultimate is a WordPress add-on with modules for page metadata, internal links, social data and other site options. SEO Ultimate+ is described as its premium edition, with exclusive functions, detailed training videos, custom revisions and dedicated one-to-one email support. The add-on listing warns that SEO Ultimate has not been tested with the latest three major WordPress releases, may no longer be maintained or supported, and may have compatibility issues with newer releases.

Titles, descriptions and indexing controls

Title Tag Rewriter puts post titles at the beginning of title tags by default. You can replace a complete title tag for individual posts, pages, attachments, categories, tags and post format archives, including content in custom post types and custom taxonomies. Set a homepage title, define title formats for other areas of the website, and choose output buffering or filtering as the rewrite method.

Meta Description Editor lets you edit descriptions for posts, pages, attachments, categories, tags, post format archives and the homepage. Its mass editor can be used to add descriptions to older content, and the {excerpt::autogen} variable can generate descriptions from excerpts. Meta Robot Tags Editor offers index and follow controls for individual content and archives. Canonicalizer adds canonical tags or HTTP headers and works with category, tag, date and author archives.

Internal links and URL settings

Deeplink Juggernaut finds specified anchor text in site content and links matches to a selected destination. Destinations include URLs, posts, pages, attachments, custom post type items, categories, terms, post format archives and custom taxonomy archives. Autocomplete helps find site content and taxonomy terms. Because links can point to content objects instead of fixed URLs, they can adjust when a post or category URL changes.

Link controls include limits on autolinks per post or page, repeated use of an anchor, and links to the same destination. A frequency dampener can reduce linking globally or for an individual link. You can exclude selected pages, choose whether content can link to itself, set nofollow per link, use silo linking to keep links within a category or term, and export or import links as CSV. The module also supports footer links and links to draft posts that activate when published.

Permalink Tweaker can remove category, tag or custom taxonomy bases and includes URL conflict settings for pages and terms. Link Mask Generator makes redirecting link paths for external destinations and supports per-link or site-wide masks.

Social data and other site tools

Open Graph Integrator generates social metadata for the homepage, posts, pages, attachments, custom post type items and user profiles. It also provides controls and mass editing for titles, images and content types, with support for summary-style and photo-style Twitter Cards. Rich Snippet Creator adds Schema.org markup for reviews and places. Other modules include a 404 Monitor for tracking missing-page requests, settings import and export, robots.txt and .htaccess editors, a code inserter, a slug optimizer, and tools for meta keywords and link attributes.
