Quick Featured Images Pro: Bulk Changes Have No Undo
Set, replace, or remove featured images across posts, pages, and supported custom post types. Assign one image or several in random order. When using several, you can use each image once, leave posts unchanged after the images execute out, or remove excess featured images. Choose whether to overwrite existing images or keep them unchanged; keeping them is the default. You can also limit a task to posts without a featured image.
Bulk actions on selected content

When images come from existing content
Pro can use the first post image already available in the media library, the first image from the current site, or the first external post image. Images from the current site can be copied into the media library, and external images can be downloaded there when they are not already available. Other sources include the first attached image, the first image in a standard WordPress gallery, the first embedded content thumbnail, such as a YouTube thumbnail, and the first image in a NextGen Gallery.
Filters for a narrower target
Filter by post type, category, or tag, with additional Pro filters for post format, author, custom taxonomy terms, featured-image size, audio or video, search terms in the title or content, status, time, and parent page. Save process options as presets for recurring bulk tasks.
Rules for future posts
Set default featured images using rules based on the first content image, custom taxonomies that support featured images, tags, categories, authors, or post type. Pro adds rules for external images, multiple random images, post format, title search terms, and random featured images at each page load. You can select the order in which rule types apply. Rules take effect when a post is saved in the WordPress backend or frontend, and you can choose whether they overwrite an existing featured image or leave it unchanged. Keeping existing images is the default.
Manage images from post and media lists
A sortable Featured Image column shows assigned images in post, page, and supported custom post type lists. Its action links let you set, replace, edit, or remove an image for an individual post. A media library column lists the posts that use each image as a featured image. You can also remove database entries for featured images whose image files no longer exist.
Before running a bulk change
Choose an action, image source, and filters, then review the targeted content before applying the change. Bulk actions have no undo.
