Set COD availability conditions
Enable a restriction to allow COD only for its specified selections, or disable it to exclude those selections. Rules can use shipping zones, shipping methods within zones, countries, states, postal codes, cities, visitor roles, products in the cart, product categories, and shipping classes. Postal code rules support ranges, and product rules include variations. When COD is unavailable, a message can appear before the payment methods; different restriction reasons can have different messages.
Configure fees for checkout situations
Set a standard extra fee and a separate local pickup fee. Each can be a fixed price or a percentage of the cart amount. A rounding option adjusts the resulting fee, and tax can be enabled. Conditional fee scenarios can use country, shipping zone, shipping method, cart amount thresholds, and order-pay handling.
Add order and customer rules
PRO includes advance-payment COD settings and CSV imports for restrictions. Availability rules can also consider cart amounts, product quantities, customer roles, stock, backorders, and coupons. Combine these with location, shipping, product, category, and shipping-class conditions to apply the store’s COD policies.
Check the checkout result
Install Smart COD PRO alongside WooCommerce, configure its Cash on Delivery options, and review checkout behavior for the shipping, customer, product, and order scenarios used by the store. Confirm that COD appears or is withheld as intended, the applicable fee is shown, and any unavailability message appears before the payment methods.
Developer filters
Developer filters are available to alter the extra fee, change the current COD restriction, and change the COD fee title: wc_smart_cod_fee, wc_smart_cod_available, and wc_smart_cod_fee_title.
