Rotation and reporting

Notibar Pro extends Notibar, a WordPress notification bar add-on, for sites managing announcements, calls to action, and targeted messages. Manage multiple bars in the native WordPress Customizer, which includes a live preview. Each bar can have its own content, style, device settings, display pages, and close behaviour.

Rotation mode can display bars in sequence or at random. Set the interval between bars and pause rotation while a user hovers over the bar. Notibar Pro also supports A/B testing. Reports track clicks and dismissals for each bar.

Display rules, timing and placement

Show a bar across pages and posts or limit it to selected page or post IDs. Custom post type targeting includes WooCommerce products. Schedule a start and end date and time, or set an automatic daily on/off schedule. Bars can appear at the bottom of the screen, and visitor rules can target a role or specific users.

When using role or user targeting, exclude logged-in users from page caching. Full-page caching can serve the same cached HTML to various visitors, preventing the targeting rules from being evaluated for each visitor.

Bar content and behaviour

Set custom text, colors, click-to-action content, and a style preset for each bar. Choose absolute or fixed positioning, set the text container width and alignment, and configure the dismiss button. Dismissal can be disabled, set to toggle or collapse the bar, or configured to close it permanently. Mobile devices can use separate content and button settings.

Additional utilities include drag-and-drop reordering, one-click duplication, export and import, HTML and CSS support, and responsive behaviour for mobile devices. The extension can integrate with WPML String Translation version 3.0 or later for bar text, button labels, and button URLs.

Create and configure a bar

After adding Notibar to WordPress, create or edit a bar in the native WordPress Customizer. Enter the message and button content, choose a style, configure devices and display rules, then review the result in the live preview. Pro users can set rotation, targeting, reporting, bottom placement, or role and user conditions.
